We also had problems with our neighbors in the building next to us also. There was a neighbor downstairs and one directly across from our apartment. One night the downstairs neighbor was out on his patio with a group of friends on a work night, having a good time. Around 2:00 AM we were under the impression that they were not aware that their voices were traveling into our bedroom. Dax asked them several times to please try and keep it down. They refused. Dax called the cops. The cop came out an hour later, and did nothing. He chatted with them for awhile and them came up to us and told us basically to deal with it because there is no such thing as a noise ordinance for people in apartments.
