So much has happened since I last blogged.

As I expected the company I worked for went under back in August of 09. We were lender number 350 on Mortgage Implode list. One of our offices was raided by federal agents. All underwriting was halted, and our managers encouraged us to use our new free time to improve ourselves by taking online classes available to us. We were told that everything was going to be okay, and not to worry. The next day we had a quick meeting, and management once again reassured us that everything was okay. Twenty minutes after that meeting we received an email letting us know that we were all terminated at the end of the day.

For 2 weeks have just been sitting at my desk with very little to do. Our company told us that we need not worry, because we deal in only “A” grade paper, but it seems like there is less and less to do everyday. A couple of weeks ago I got into trouble for being on the Internet. When I explained that all of my work was finished, and that I had even taken all of the current classes available; I was told that I should go home with no pay if I ever ran out of work to do again. Thank goodness I have an iPhone. It saves me from compelete boredom, and I can search for a new job.
