Saturday at the Beach

Posted in blog post by Spracky

If you read the most recent post by Dax, then you know we went out to the beach on Saturday and Sunday. I applied SPF 15 to myself at least 4 times and I still got a little cooked. It was pretty hot out there but the waves were really nice. Dax brought out his big surf board, I believe he called it an 8.0. I may be wrong, but anyway; I got onto it, I was having a hard time just balancing lying on my stomach. I locked my knees to the side of the board and ended up with some nasty bruises. All I did was paddle around, avoid the big waves, and tried my best to stay everyone’s way. I told Dax that, I thought there would be no way that I could stand on it. So I just rode it to shore on my belly.

Oh, but before I forget; I almost cut off Dax’s toe with the board fins. He was waxing it in the water and it was my reasonability to hold the nose up out of the water. I am not really sure what happened, but the board went under the water. I tried to lift it up but was unable to because the wave was pushing it down. The fin was slicing in between Dax’s toes. He got a pretty nasty cut. It looks like it could have potentially taken off one of his toes. He also pulled a muscle in the foot from the little mishap. I felt horrible. Dax was in such a great mood that he shook it off and told me not worry.

Hillary Clinton pushing for a Video Game tax???

Posted in blog post by Spracky

Get ready to pay more for video games according to Hillary Clinton. She’s at it again… more taxes. Enough said…

Wow! I waited a day to respond to this story because my first and initial reaction was; shock, hatred, and total disbelief! At this movement, I am still having a very hard time putting my words together without outright losing it.

There is a tax already on games; it’s called a sales tax! What’s next; movie tax, music tax, internet tax, TV tax? Hey wait, I have an idea, let’s tax everything that is fun and makes life enjoyable!

Blood Party

Posted in blog post by Spracky

I have not had a chance to post lately because I have been working so much. I did however want to post a weird dream that I had the other night.

Some people believe that Melatonin can cause crazy dreams. Well I took some the other night, I had a crazy dream, well crazy to me but I am not sure if it was from the Melatonin or not.

I had a dream that I was back in high school with my best friend. The walls and doors were made out of brushed metal and the flooring was a dark blue carpet. I was walking down the hall with my friend; she was telling me how her boyfriend had just broken up with her to date another girl. All of a sudden her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend come out of a classroom and they spot us. We were trying to be polite and nice to the new girl, they invited us to a party later that night. So next thing I know I am with my mom, brother and grandmother picking out canned meat for the party. I remember standing in the cashier line and the cashier ringing up a piece of meat that looked like it had been pulverized it was laid out on some aluminum foil and had blood all around it. I remember telling my mother, “I really hope they like it!” So now it flashes to the party everyone is hanging out and have a goodtime, but for some reason the girl and the boyfriend keep giving my friend and me weird looks. My friend decided that she could not handle watching them anymore and went into another room to go to bed. All of a sudden my vision started to blur and I felt as if I had been drugged. I woke up the next day in my dream, and I was covered in blood. I looked around the walls, carpet and everything around me had blood splatters. I ran to my friend’s room and called out her name. I was unable to find her. I ran out into the living room where the rest of the party was sitting on a green sofa. They were huddled up, their eyes were wide; they all seemed distant as if they were not even looking at me. They were covered in blood. I asked them where my friend was. They said I killed her.

Wedding & Lost Time

Posted in blog post by Spracky

Today, Dax and I traveled to St Augustine Florida for a beautiful wedding at the Oldest House. The wedding was held outside in the garden area. There was a slight breeze coming in off the water so it wasn’t to hot, it was actually really nice.

I hadn’t seen the bride since she was around 3 years old, now she has her own children. I had not seen her sister, since I was 16 maybe 17. Now she had a 16 year old daughter. Her mother was one of my mom’s best friends back in the day and they were into partying a lot, now she has her own business.

It was really strange seeing everyone again. Millions of thoughts ran through my head. I wanted to fill in all the gaps of all the lost time. I wanted to know more about these people that I had forgotten over the years.
